History

Highway Mission was founded in 2005 to reach motorcyclists for Christ. Over a period of several years, members of the Cycle Disciples Motorcycle Club in Kansas City realized that effective ministry within the motorcycling (“biker”) culture required long term, full time commitment, well beyond the capability of individual club members to provide. After exploring various avenues to develop full time biker missionaries, the founders concluded that establishing an official mission board designed to reach this unique sub-culture was the best avenue.

Highway Mission is an independent mission board, incorporated as a not for profit corporation in the State of Missouri.
